This was a great chat.  Like a snowball, it got bigger and better as it rolled on!  We started with discussions of the best, worst and mediocre of SF/Fantasy filmdom--and that's where we stayed.  The discussion stayed pretty much on track all the way through.
Some of the Votes for the Best included:  Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Andromeda Strain, Highlander,  2001: A Space Odyssey, ET, Robinson Crusoe on Mars.
Some of the Worst Votes were:  Mars Needs Women, Santa Claus on Mars, Star Trek: Generations (they didn't like Kirk).
There were a few minutes when we discussed what movies-from-books we would like to see.  Included were the Ender series, another Dune, Asimov's Robot series and Foundation series.
